GOVERNOR PAWLENTY ORDERS U.S. AND STATE FLAGS AT HALF-STAFF IN HONOR OF CORPORAL ANTHONY T. McELVEEN -- December 12, 2005
Governor Tim Pawlenty today ordered that all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at the Capitol Complex, including state buildings, monuments and grounds in proximity to and including the Minnesota State Capitol, from sunrise until sunset today, Monday, December 12, 2005, in honor and remembrance of Corporal Anthony T. McElveen.

Governor Tim Pawlenty today requested that all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at all state buildings in Minnesota from sunrise until sunset today, Wednesday, December 7, in honor and remembrance of those who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor. Governor Pawlenty followed President Bush's request to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff at all federal buildings on this day.
