GOVERNOR PAWLENTY ORDERS MINNESOTA FLAG AT HALF-STAFF IN HONOR OF PEACE OFFICERS MEMORIAL DAY -- May 13, 2005
Governor Tim Pawlenty today ordered that the Minnesota flag be flown at half-staff on state property from sunrise on Sunday, May 15, 2005, until sunset on May 15, 2005, in honor of the federal, state, and municipal officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Governor Tim Pawlenty today ordered that all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at the Capitol Complex, including state buildings, monuments and grounds in proximity to and including the Minnesota State Capitol, from sunrise until sunset, on Friday, May 13, 2005, in honor and remembrance of Captain Kelly C. Hinz, who died in a plane crash over south central Iraq last week.

Vick.

Governor Tim Pawlenty today proclaimed Monday, March 28, 2005 to be a Day of Remembrance in Minnesota to honor and mourn the victims of the tragic shootings in Red Lake. He has ordered that Minnesota flags on state property and at schools be flown at half-staff and encouraged that a moment of silence and reflection be observed at 2:00 p.m.
