The Fiscal Calendar is a list of spending or revenue bills to be taken up by the full House on a given day. The bills are drawn from the General Register, which means they have had a second reading. Bills can be placed on the Fiscal Calendar by the chair of the Ways and Means Committee or the chair of the Taxes Committee. In most circumstances, the intent to place a bill on the Fiscal Calendar must be announced before 5 p.m. on the legislative day prior to its consideration by the full House. See House Rule 1.22.
