MARSHALL SCHOOL DISTRICT SHOWS LEADERSHIP IN PURSUIT OF Q COMP -- March 31, 2006
Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced that the Marshall Public School District will implement the Governor’s nation-leading Q Comp performance and professional pay program.  Marshall will be the ninth district in the state to opt into Q Comp, and will receive $576,940 for the 2005-06 school year for implementation efforts.

GOVERNOR PAWLENTY ACTIVATES EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER IN RESPONSE TO POTENTIAL RED RIVER FLOODING -- March 30, 2006
In response to potential flooding in the Red River Valley, Governor Pawlenty said today he has activated the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC). Representatives from the Department of Public Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) will staff the SEOC to communicate with local officials in areas threatened by flooding.
