HF4484 (Howard): Long-term safety net insulin program sunset repealed.

HF3700 (Smith): Notice and public hearings for hospital closures, curtailment of operations, relocation of services, and cessation in offering services governing requirements modified; penalties provided; and right of first refusal before the sale of hospital or hospital campus established.

HF2177 (Cha): Sale or offer for sale of flavored tobacco, nicotine, or lobelia products prohibited; and penalties authorized.

TESTIMONY: For HF2177 , the committee will consider public testimony relating ONLY to the HEALTH aspects of the bill. Testimony related to the regulation of commerce and business practices is not germane to the work of the Health Committee. If the bill advances, other committees will address those aspects of the bill.

HF4098 (Hemmingsen-Jaeger): Opiate product manufacturer reporting requirements amended, and opiate product registration fee determination process amended.

HF4099 (Hemmingsen-Jaeger): Relocation and change of ownership fees established for persons registered with or licensed by the Board of Pharmacy.

HF3529 (Reyer): Health maintenance organizations required to be nonprofit corporations organized under chapter 317A.
