Testimony Requests

Requests to testify must be submitted by the document deadline. The number of testifiers and length of time permitted is at the discretion of the chair and is subject to change. Requests should be submitted to judiciary@senate.mn. with the name, title, organization, bill number, and position stated.

Document Requirements

1 page documents should be in PDF format with the file name first listing the organization or individuals name, the SF#, and indicating a position on the file i.e. pro/con/neutral. Documents should be submitted to judiciary@senate.mn. Documents received after the posted deadline or that do not meet the requirements stated may not be included in the hearing.

Secondary/Tertiary Jurisdiction Bills

Bills may be added with limited committee jurisdiction. Testimony or documents to provisions other than those explicitly within the purview of the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee will not be accepted.
