GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS 4 TO BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY -- June 27, 2003
 

Saint Paul -- Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the appointment of Robert Hyde, Jacqueline Pausch, and Mary Lynn Widseth and the reappointment of Roger Reinhart to the Board of Accountancy. All four are appointed to four-year terms that expire on January 1, 2007.

Hyde, of Plymouth, is an audit director with Deloitte and Touche in Minneapolis. He has been a CPA for 30 years. Hyde replaces Margaret Holahan as a representative of certified public accountants.

Pausch, of Detroit Lakes, is a freelance business developer for small businesses and has a background in sales. Pausch replaces Thomas Coulter as a public member.

Reinhart, of Burnsville, is a certified public accountant in private practice with 35 years of experience. Reinhart, who is currently chair of the board, is reappointed to his second four-year term as a representative of certified public accountants.

Widseth, of McGregor, has a background in vocational rehabilitation and is active in the McGregor community. Widseth replaces J. R. Relick as a public member.

The Board of Accountancy examines, licenses and regulates certified public accountants. The board consists of nine members appointed by the Governor.
