In preparation for expected flooding, today Governor Mark Dayton signed an Executive Order exempting motor carriers assisting with flood relief from certain motor carrier regulations, including overweight and over-dimension permits. This is an Order that has been issued routinely in previous flood-fights, and allows for more rapid movement of assets and personnel.
