ST. PAUL, MN - Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed legislation (
Chapter 4, HF8) into law. The bill will enhance child protection measures in Minnesota. The legislation passed unanimously in the Minnesota Senate and Minnesota House of Representatives.
"This new law will restore an important layer of protection that will help identify abuse and enhance the safety of our children," said Governor Dayton. "I thank the Legislature for acting quickly and unanimously on this important legislation."
