This morning, Miss Minnesota, Rebecca Yeh met with Governor Mark Dayton at the Governor's Residence in St. Paul. Yeh, of Nisswa, Minnesota, was crowned Miss Minnesota on June 15, 2013.

Rebecca Yeh is a native of Nisswa, Minnesota, and a student at Ohio Northern University where she is pursuing a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. An accomplished violinist, Yeh has been a violin instructor since the age of 13 and performs regularly as a soloist, as a member of a string trio, and as part of a string quartet.

As Miss Minnesota, Ms. Yeh's service platform is entitled "My Voice for Philip," and was inspired by her 22-year old brother Phil who was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. Rebecca regularly speaks to Minnesotans about early detection and public awareness of autism - a disorder that affects more than 1.5 million people. Yeh is also an official spokesperson for the Children's Miracle Network in Minnesota.
