Statement from Governor Dayton on the Protect Access to Contraception Act

ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Minnesota Legislators and supporters announced the Protect Access to Contraception (PAC) Act, to ensure insurance coverage for all FDA-approved contraceptives without cost to the patient. The following is a statement from Governor Mark Dayton.
“It is terrible that the Trump Administration is undermining women’s access to this basic health care. All women deserve to be healthy and safe, regardless of their type of health insurance or their socioeconomic status. I strongly support the Protect Access to Contraception Act, and urge legislators to take action this session to protect women’s access to quality health care in Minnesota.”
