St. Paul, MN - Governor Mark Dayton proclaimed tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13, University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs Day in Minnesota, in honor of the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey champion UMD Bulldogs.
About the day, Governor Dayton said, "All Minnesotans feel enormous pride in the fantastic accomplishments of the very dedicated team, who worked very hard to earn the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldog's first ever National Championship."
Duluth will honor its champion hockey team tomorrow night in a public ceremony at AMSOIL Arena; the proclamation will be read as part of that ceremony.
