ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith released the following statements today concerning the recent earthquake in Ecuador.
The following is a statement from Governor Dayton:
“My heart goes out to the people of Ecuador, who have suffered this terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the all those affected by this devastating earthquake. I encourage all Minnesotans, in any way they can, to contribute to their healing and recovery.”
The following is a statement from Lt. Governor Smith:
“For decades, thousands of Ecuadorians have made Minnesota their home. Today, many are hurting for family, friends, and loved ones affected by this devastating earthquake. Let us keep all those affected in our hearts during this difficult time.”
