ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Mark Dayton announced the following appointments to the Compensation Council. This council assists the legislature in establishing compensation for constitutional officers, justices of the Supreme Court, judges of the Court of Appeals and District Courts, and the heads of state and metropolitan agencies specified in statute. The Governor must appoint one member from each congressional district and no more than four may belong to the same political party.

 

Each of the appointments listed below is effective January 15, 2017. By statute, appointments to the Compensation Council expire upon submission of the Council’s recommendations, which are due by April 1 of each odd-numbered year.
