ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton is encouraging all eligible Minnesotans to apply for one of the four current vacancies on the Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST Board). The following seats expired on January 4, 2016, and, in accordance with Minnesota Statute, will be appointed by June 30, 2016.

“The board responsible for establishing standards and training protocols for Minnesota’s police officers must better-reflect the diversity of our communities,” said Governor Dayton. “For that reason, I have instructed my staff to actively seek out a more diverse set of candidates for the vacancies on this Board.
