Governor Dayton Appoints Gail T. Kulick to Fill Seventh Judicial District Vacancy

ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointment of Gail T. Kulick as District Court Judge in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District. Ms. Kulick is replacing the Honorable Conrad I. Freeberg, and will be chambered at Milaca in Mille Lacs County.
 
“Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Gail T. Kulick has proven herself committed to justice for all Minnesotans,” said Governor Mark Dayton. “I trust that her commitment to justice and service will continue in her new role, as District Court Judge for Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District.”
 
Ms. Kulick is a solo practitioner at Kulick Consulting, P.A., where she handles cases primarily in real estate, probate, estate planning, and government relations. Previously, she was an attorney and policy advocate for Winthrop & Weinstine, Commissioner of Corporate Affairs for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, and represented District 16A in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Ms. Kulick earned her B.A. Summa Cum Laude from Saint Cloud State University and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. 
 
Ms. Kulick serves on the Board of Directors of the Northern Lights Community Theatre, and previously served on the Board of Directors of Mille Lacs Health System and the Minnesota Children’s Museum.
 
Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District consists of Becker, Benton, Clay, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Otter Tail, Stearns, Todd, and Wadena Counties.
