Governor Dayton invites all ghouls, goblins, and vampires to celebrate Halloween at the Governor's Residence-if you dare. The gates of the Governor's Residence will be open from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Governor Dayton will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters from approximately 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
SUPERVALU will donate 1,600 M&M mini-packs and 1,600 Cub 4 Kids cards, which allow children to receive a free piece of fruit every time they visit Cub Foods. Pearson's Candy Company will also donate 1,600 Bite Size Salted Nut Rolls to be handed out to trick-or-treaters.
The Sustainable Farming Association will donate 300 mini-pumpkins for trick-or-treaters to decorate and take home with them and there will be a volunteer from the SFA staffing each decorating table.
Linder's Garden Center will be providing the festive outdoor decor for the front entry way of the Governor's Residence and the 1006 Summit Avenue Society will be supplying additional decor.
