Governor Mark Dayton released the following statement today in strong support of Senator Amy Klobuchar's proposed legislation, which would authorize the Stillwater Bridge project to move forward:

"I thank Senator Klobuchar for her tremendous efforts in building Senate support for this important legislation, authorizing the construction of the badly-needed Stillwater Bridge. I salute her for her outstanding leadership and applaud her success.

"I also thank Senator Franken for his support of this legislation in the Senate, and Representative Bachmann for her important leadership on this legislation in the House of Representatives."
