ST. PAUL, MN - Saturday morning, August 23rd at 11:00am at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Governor Mark Dayton will be joined by Jeni Haler, 2014 Princess Kay of the Milky Way, and Ken Herbranson, Chair of the Midwest Dairy Association, to proclaim Saturday "/governor/assets/all_you_can_drink_milk_day_2014.pdf_tcm1055-94199.pdfAll-You-Can-Drink Milk Day" in Minnesota. The Governor's proclamation recognizes the 60th anniversary of All-You-Can-Drink Milk at the fair, and the contributions of more than 3,600 Minnesota dairy farm families statewide.

The All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand is owned by Minnesota dairy farm families from across the state. Milk served at the State Fair comes from cows that are within 200 miles of the Fairgrounds.

Over 98% of all dairy farms in Minnesota are family owned and operated. Minnesota is the 7th-largest milk-producing state in the country, making sustainable, locally-produced milk available statewide. In fact, milk is Minnesota's official state drink.

Minnesota State Fair visitors have previously voted the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand the "Best Value in Food and Drink" at the Fair. Over the course of the fair, Minnesotans drink more than 16,000 gallons of milk from the stand. More information can be found here.
