Governor first called for legislative action over two years ago, to allow Minnesotans to continue boarding airplanes with a compliant driver’s license
ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton today signed
Chapter 76, HF 3, to authorize the Department of Public Safety to move forward on Real ID in Minnesota. This authorization means that Minnesotans will continue to be able to board domestic flights, with a compliant driver’s license. Governor Dayton first called for legislative action to resolve Real ID more than two years ago.
