    Update from the 69th Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor

    Governor Dayton, Lt. Governor Smith, Speaker Daudt, and Assistant Senate Majority Leader Sieben catch eleven fish on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, Minnesota 
     
    MCGREGOR, MN – The 2016 Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener was a success! Altogether, Governor Mark Dayton, Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith, Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt, and Assistant Senate Majority Leader Katie Sieben caught eleven fish at Big Sandy Resort on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, Minnesota.
     
    Local fishing guide Bob Staska hosted Governor Dayton, Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt, and Assistant Senate Majority Leader Katie Sieben. The fish tally from Bob Staska’s boat was as follows:

    Local fishing guide Glenn Lane hosted Lieutenant Governor Smith and the Lieutenant Governor’s husband, Archie Smith. Lieutenant Governor Smith landed the first catch of the day. The fish tally from Glenn Lane’s boat was as follows:
