Governor Dayton Takes Action on Bills

Governor Dayton signed the following bills into law:

Chapter 67, SF 86: This bill establishes a retention period of 60 days for Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) data. This bill passed 96-35 in the House and 55-11 in the Senate.
 
Chapter 77, SF 888: This is the omnibus state government finance bill. This bill passed 71-61 in the House and 44-21 in the Senate.
 
Governor Dayton vetoed the following bills today. Veto letters, explaining the Governor's objections to these bills, are included in the links below.
 
Chapter 79, HF 846: This is the omnibus agriculture, environment, and natural resources finance bill. This bill passed 83-50 in the House and 35-30 in the Senate. /governor/assets/2015_05_23_Veto_Letter_Chapter_79_tcm1055-114801.pdfClick here to read Governor Dayton's veto letter.
 
Chapter 80, HF 1437: This is the omnibus jobs and energy bill. The bill appropriates money to state agencies involved with economic and workforce development, labor and industry, housing, commerce, and energy.
