Governor Mark Dayton released the following statement this evening on the passing of his Aunt, Mary Lee Dayton, who passed away this afternoon.
My aunt, Mary Lee Dayton, was a wonderful woman, who lived her life with exceptional dignity and grace. She stood up for the rights of women and opportunities for young girls, long before most of society recognized those needs. Yet she treated friends and strangers alike with unfailing kindness, compassion, and concern."
