ST. PAUL, MN - Governor Mark Dayton has declared Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, to be Small Business Day in the state of Minnesota. The Governor will present the proclamation at the premiere of the new documentary called "Small Business Revolution."
The documentary was produced by the Deluxe Corporation as part of its year-long centennial celebration. Founded in St. Paul in 1915 as a check printer, Deluxe is now a leading provider of logo design, email, website development and other marketing services for more than four million small businesses. The Small Business Revolution documentary is the culmination of year-long campaign of the same name in which Deluxe is telling the stories of 100 remarkable small businesses across the country, including several in Minnesota.
"Small businesses are the backbone of Minnesota's economy," said Governor Dayton. "Our small businesses provide high quality services and products, support strong communities, and provide jobs and opportunity for people across Minnesota. I am proud to celebrate their contributions and successes."
The Minnesota-based small businesses featured as part of the Small Business Revolution campaign are:

"Small Business Day celebrates hard-working Minnesotans who are creating new economic opportunities for their families and strengthening their communities."
The Small Business Revolution documentary debuts Sept. 30 at Aria in Minneapolis and showcases several remarkable small businesses, thought leaders and celebrity entrepreneur Robert Herjavec, star of ABC's "Shark Tank," who is making a special appearance at tonight's premiere event.
