ST. PAUL, MN – Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed Friday, January 27, 2017 to be “The Great Northern Day” in the State of Minnesota. Governor Dayton’s proclamation celebrates Minnesota’s outdoor heritage, and highlights the variety of winter events, activities, and entertainment being held from January 27, 2017, through February 5, 2017.
“The Great Northern is a terrific new initiative to highlight the many exciting features of Minnesota winters,” said Governor Dayton.
