Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed two bills into law. The first, House File 323, clarifies that real estate licensees and appraisers may perform broker price opinions (BPOs), which are estimates of a property's probable selling price based on comparable properties in the market.

Governor Dayton also signed Senate File 551 into law, authorizing cities to issue an on-sale wine license and an on-sale malt liquor license for a stadium or ballpark for the purposes of summer collegiate league baseball games.

Both bills passed the Minnesota House and Senate with bipartisan support.
