The following is a statement from Governor Mark Dayton:

I want to thank Mark Ritchie, Marilyn Carlson Nelson, Kathy Tunheim, and all of the many Minnesotans who worked so very hard to put our state in the running for this extraordinary opportunity. The work they did put our state’s many accolades on the world stage, and demonstrated again why Minnesota is such a world-class place to live, work, and innovate.”
The following is a statement from Lt. Governor Tina Smith:

All Minnesotans are grateful for their creativity, enterprising spirit, and hard work.”
