Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed into law a bill that will allow airline employees flexibility in their schedule and work hours (Senate File 488/House File 571). Employees will be able to voluntarily swap scheduled hours with other employees, which will allow an employee to take time away from work to address personal or other issues as needed. Delta Airlines and Delta employees testified in support of this bill, and it unanimously passed both the State House and Senate.
