ST. PAUL, MN -Governor Dayton announced today the commencement of a process to fill two upcoming at-large vacancies on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. These vacancies will occur upon the retirements of the Honorable Thomas J. Kalitowski and the Honorable Terri J. Stoneburner, effective April 1, 2014.

Governor Dayton has asked the Commission on Judicial Selection to aid in the review and selection process for these vacancies. The at-large members of the Commission will consider applications and offer recommendations to Governor Dayton. The Commission on Judicial Selection and Governor Dayton are committed to seeking out individuals who possess great integrity, deep legal knowledge, broad experience and a sense of fairness and justice, in addition to the statutory qualifications. The application process is now open for these vacancies.
