Governor Dayton Signs Two More Unsession Bills

Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed two Unsession bills into law. The bills include 68 Unsession provisions the Governor recommended to the Legislature in early March. Altogether, 121 Unsession provisions have now become law.

  • Chapter 181, HF 2746: This Unsession bill removes obsolete, redundant, and unnecessary laws related to the Department of Agriculture. This bill also modifies biodiesel fuel requirements. This bill contained 61 Unsession provisions. The bill passed the House 116-0 and the Senate 61-1.
  • Chapter 182, HF 2658: This Unsession bill adopts recommendations from the Workers' Compensation Advisory Council. This bill contained 7 Unsession provisions. The bill passed unanimously in both chambers.
