Last night, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai gave a speech to a packed house at Minneapolis’s Target Center. Governor Dayton and Lt. Governor Smith honored the young education advocate by proclaiming July 26, 2016 “Malala Yousafzai Day” in Minnesota.

Constituent Outreach Liason Sumee Lee presented Yousafzai with the proclamation.  “This day is not for me, but for all the voices of girls," Yousafzai said.
