| Governor Tim Pawlenty today signed Executive Order 09-13, providing the creation of the Governor's Task Force on a Shared Services Approach to Fire and Rescue Services ("Fire and Rescue Shared Services Task Force"). The Fire and Rescue Shared Services Task Force will examine issues and benefits associated with different models for shared fire and rescue service delivery. |

| Governor Tim Pawlenty today signed Emergency Executive Order 09-11, providing emergency relief from regulations pertaining to hours of service for carriers and drivers of commercial motor vehicles while in the process of obtaining and transporting propane for farm use. Without relief, farmers would not be able to obtain needed supplies of propane to complete their harvest in a timely manner, resulting in loss of property and resources to Minnesota farmers. |
