The following is a statement from Governor Tim Pawlenty regarding President Bush's State of the Union address:

"As Governor of the Renewable Energy Capitol of America, I support and applaud the President's goal to increase research for clean energy and ethanol production and reduce the country's use of Middle East oil imports.  It recognizes what we Minnesotans already know: that renewable energy from our homegrown fuels is good energy policy, good national security policy, good environmental policy and good rural economic development policy."
