Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Anoma Mullegama and the appointment of Robin Bode to the Minnesota Board of Social Work. Anoma Mullegama, of Rochester, currently serves as the Manager of Medical Social Services for the Mayo Clinic, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Methodist Hospital in Rochester. She also serves as a board member and trustee for the Ronald McDonald House. Mullegama received a B.A. from the University of Washington, a B.S.W. from the University of British Columbia, and an M.S.W. from the New Mexico Highlands University. She is appointed to a Board position for a master’s level social worker. She will serve a four-year term which ends January 4, 2010. Mullegama was first appointed to the Board in 2003. Robin Bode, of LeCenter, currently serves as Assistant Director of Transition and Social Services for Saint Peter Regional Treatment Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Mental Health Planning and Advisory Councils. Bode received a B.S.W in Social Work and Psychology from Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud. She is appointed to a Board position for a bachelor’s level social worker and will serve a four-year term which ends January 4, 2010. Bode replaces Paul Gaston on the Board. The Minnesota Board of Social Work is responsible for licensing and disciplining social workers. The board is made up of 15 members appointed by the Governor. |
