Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Ramanik P. Shah, CPA, to the Board of Accountancy. Shah, of Roseville, is the principal of Shah and Company, Ltd, a full-service accounting firm in Roseville. He has been an active member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs since 1985, and has served continuously for over 20 years as a volunteer manager for Accountability, formerly called the Minnesota Accounting Aid Society. Shah, who has been a member of the Board of Accountancy since 2004, and is currently its secretary/treasurer, is reappointed as a certified public accountant member for a four-year term that expires on January 4, 2010. The Board of Accountancy examines, licenses and regulates certified public accountants. The board consists of nine members appointed by the Governor. |
