No formal action will be taken, meaning Committee Members will NOT be voting on the bill. It is for informational purposes only.

HF874 (Hassan) Fundamental right to quality public education for all children provided, and constitutional amendment proposed.


Public testimony (up to 2 minutes each) will be taken from both those who support the bill and those who oppose/have concerns.

Members of the public, organizations, and stakeholders are always welcome to submit written testimony in lieu of testifying via zoom.

If you would like to submit written testimony, please email your testimony as an attached MS Word Document or PDF file with OCR to Laura.Taken-Holtze@house.mn.

Written testimony received by Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. will be included in the “virtual committee packet.” Written testimony may also be submitted up to 24 hours following the hearing to be included in the record.
